The RSM Richter Go Green Committee, which includes employees from multiple departments as well as key executives, has the mission of reducing RSM Richter’s carbon footprint by minimizing waste and promoting environmental best practices throughout the Firm.
Our Go Green objectives include:
- Reduce paper consumption by 30% by implementing double-side printing and encouraging electronic document management;
- Improve recycling with awareness campaigns;
- Reduce usage of disposable containers by replacing water bottles with carafes and cups and replacing all Styrofoam cups with glasses and mugs;
- Reduce usage of personal motorized vehicles by offering employees public transportation subsidies. Taxi vouchers are however offered to employees working outside of regular hours, to ensure their personal safety.
Employees throughout the firm are actively involved in our Go Green program, assisting the Committee with the organization of a variety of events and awareness-building activities, such as a yearly plant sale, lunch-and-learns on Best Environmental Practices, “Use-the-Stairs” weeks, and environmentally friendly recruiting and marketing campaigns.
