As we prepare to celebrate the holidays, it’s hard to believe that 2008 has almost come and gone. The past year has certainly been an interesting one, with no shortage of news filling the business pages each day.
For many in professional services, the current economy brings significant challenges. However, it is also an environment where creativity, diligence and excellence will persevere. By remaining attune to our clients’ needs and striving to identify new opportunities, we are in a unique position to help those we advise weather the storm.
RSM Richter is well positioned to deal with the current business environment. In recent months, our audit and management consulting practices have been engaged by a number of significant new clients in need of the prudent, strategic counsel RSM Richter has to offer. Our restructuring and corporate finance departments have also been very busy (though they still took the time to pose for their annual holiday card.)
As alumni, you are an important part of our success. Joe Aschaiek, the focus of this issue’s Alumni Profile, is just one example of a Richter alumnus who has gone on to do great things in his career. By providing timely, valuable professional development opportunities for our clients and employees; collaborating with our international partners through RSM International; and celebrating the excellence of our current staff, we continue to build on this success.
