The RSM Richter Summer Intern Program provides students interested in pursuing the Chartered Accountancy designation with the opportunity to sample a career in the profession. Open to third year university students, Interns work on several audit engagements in a variety of industries over the course of the summer. Interns also take part in a rotational program, designed to provide exposure to areas of accountancy beyond audit. Rotations allow Interns to gain experience in a variety of areas including Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Insolvency, Tax and Professional Standards.
As a new Intern, your first week is spent with your fellow Interns completing comprehensive training sessions on RSM Richter’s Audit Methodology and software programs. You will also have the opportunity to get to know RSM Richter staff members through various social events and attend a question and answer session with the Managing and Founding Partners of the Toronto office.
To further your integration into the firm, each Intern is assigned a buddy who is available throughout the summer to answer any questions you have about RSM Richter, the CA profession – and even treat you to lunches!
